The only "Figure-8" layout in major motorsport. It is a true "driver's track" with technical sections like the "S" Curves and the terrifyingly fast 130R left-hander.



Join us for a Casual Sim Session where we’ll be running laid-back races on Assetto Corsa! Hop on, jump into the server, and enjoy some fun, low-pressure racing with the club. No intense competition — just good vibes, clean battles, and plenty of laps. Whether you’re new or experienced, come race with us!

Known as the "Temple of Speed." It features long straights and heavy braking zones into tight chicanes. It is the fastest track on the F1 calendar, where cars run with the lowest downforce levels.


A high-speed, flowing masterpiece built on a former WWII airfield. It is famous for the Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel complex, which tests a car's aerodynamic efficiency at immense speeds.


A humid, bumpy night race. It is physically grueling for drivers and features a stunning lit-up skyline backdrop. 19 Turns

Join us this Sunday, March 8th, in ETC 3.108 at 7 PM as we host IMSA LMP3 driver Daniel Oliver to talk about professional opportunities in motorsports! This talk is for students of all disciplines, from engineering to liberal arts and everyone in between. This event will include a lecture from Daniel, an industry panel, and a Q&A session. Following will be a social hour to meet likeminded people and see how you might fit into the world of competition! We hope to see y’all there!

A short, punchy track set in the mountains. It has massive elevation changes and only three real sectors, making for incredibly close qualifying times.


Join us for a Sim Racing Club tabling event at the Alienware Gaming Lounge! We’ll have a full racing rig set up all day, so you can stop by, hop in, and get some laps in. LSR is hosting a GM from 7-8pm in CPE 2.206 to introduce new members to our club, meet our officers, and discuss current events and future plans for the club! Come by to learn more about Longhorn Sim Racing and meet other UT motorsports enthusiasts!

A legendary California road course. While it doesn't host modern F1, it is world-renowned for "The Corkscrew," a blind, plunging downhill "S" turn that drops 5.5 stories in just 450 feet of track.

This Friday, our team is thrilled to deliver our first general meeting for all of our incoming members. Having already been met with much enthusiasm and curiosity for LSR, we hope to showcase all of the amazing opportunities our club has to offer.

LSR members joined LBR for a special FIA marshaling training opportunity at WEC! Our group was dispersed across COTA waving flags, holding information boards, and working comms for Lone Star Le Mans.
